Welcome to the Storage Management System (SMS). Our platform is designed to streamline inventory and storage management within a hospital setting, providing clear, role-based access to ensure security and efficiency.

How It Works

Users are assigned one of four roles: Admin, Supervisor, Head, or Staff. Each role has specific permissions and views tailored to their responsibilities.

  • Staff: Can log in to a specific store (e.g., Medical, Surgical) to manage its inventory. Access is limited to their assigned store.
  • Head of Department: Oversees all stores within their specific department. They can view combined data and manage staff accounts for their department.
  • Supervisor: Manages all departments and stores within a single hospital. They have a hospital-wide view and can manage Head and Staff accounts.
  • Admin: Has system-wide access across all hospitals. Admins can view and manage data for any hospital and manage all user accounts (except other Admins).

Getting Started

To begin, new users must sign up for an account. Your account will be placed in a pending state until it is approved by the appropriate authority (a Head approves Staff, a Supervisor approves Heads, and an Admin approves Supervisors). Once approved, you can log in through the designated portal on the home page.
